Allies & Call to Arms¶
Mutual Defense and Mutual Aggression pacts have real teeth: your allies can fight beside you in an approved war.
How it works¶
- When a war is approved, eligible pact allies of both sides get a ⚔ Call to Arms message
in chat with a clickable
[Reinforce]button. - An ally officer clicks it, or runs
/nation war reinforce <ally>(naming the friend they're helping) during the warning window. Requires Manage Diplomacy. - When the battle starts, that ally's online members spawn on their friend's side and fight.
Who can answer¶
- A Mutual Defense Pact ally can join only when their friend is defending.
- A Mutual Aggression Pact ally can join either an attack or a defense.
- A neutral ally can't be pulled in at all — see Neutrality.
Glory only — no land or money changes hands for allies
Reinforcing allies fight for glory only. Captured land and reparations stay strictly between the two original nations — allies add fighters but win or lose no land or money of their own. You also can't reinforce if your own nation is already in a war, and only a nation whose own land is at stake can surrender the battle.
