Legendary Weapons¶
Rare, hand-buffed vanilla weapons scattered around the world in small shrines. Only a handful of each exist at any one time.

The four weapons¶
All four are netherite (or the bow, which has no netherite variant in vanilla) - not diamond.
- Duskbringer (Longsword) - higher base damage than a normal netherite sword, with a slightly slower swing.
- Doomcleaver (Greatsword) - even higher base damage, slower again.
- Ravenhew (Battle Axe) - the hardest-hitting of the four, carrying "Armor Shred" - extra flat damage on every hit. Slowest swing speed.
- Windsong (Compact Bow) - fires arrows faster and harder than a normal bow.
These aren't stacked with unusual enchantments out of the box - they're just genuinely stronger versions of their base weapon (Armor Shred included, despite showing in the item's lore like an enchant). You can enchant and repair one exactly like any other gear - at an enchanting table, or an anvil with a plain repair material (a Netherite Ingot) or an enchanted book. The one thing you can't do is combine two legendary weapons together at an anvil or grindstone.
Only 5 of each type can exist in the world (or in players' hands) at once. Losing one, whether it despawns, burns in lava, or falls into the void, frees up a slot for a new one to eventually spawn in a shrine somewhere else.
Finding a shrine¶
A shrine can't be broken, blown up, or claimed by a nation while its weapon is still sitting there. The chest also locks for 5 minutes starting from the moment someone first tries to open it, not from when the shrine actually spawned - so don't worry if you find one and it won't open right away.
